In 2016, VISTO developed a new prototypical art program for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, expressly designed to revitalize the brand as part of its Sheraton 2020 plan. Our simple goal is for guests to remember the art they see when they stay at a Sheraton in order to help make the brand more distinctive. Working directly with the Global Design Services team at Starwood, VISTO sought to draw in guests with the artwork and to make a fresh, bold statement about the Sheraton brand.
Each contemporary portrait is meant to be a small jewel, enticing guests to approach the piece and look closely.
Each portrait gives the room a contemporary, surprising touch, with each piece creating a human connection without representing a real human face.
